The Pederson Custom Guitar Adjustable Neck is highly engineered for micro-action adjustments. Why an adjustable neck? For every guitar there is an optimal saddle height.
When other guitar makers need to raise or lower their string action they need to put a shorter or taller saddle in the slot — changing and altering this OPTIMAL break angle. With my adjustable neck, the action changes can be made INDEPENDENT from this optimal saddle break angle. I’ve DIVORCED action changes from the optimal saddle height in my guitars.
The saddle height is now independent from any needed action changes. The neck is recessed into a tightly fitting pocket and with the turn of a allen wrench you can change the neck angle for your desired action height without altering the OPTIMAL break angle of the saddle. The neck is adjustable from the inside of the guitar.
